योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-23, verse-8

भोक्तुं न किंचिच्छक्नोति न च जानाति किंचन ।
राजार्थं केवलं सर्वं करोत्यज्ञोऽपि सन्सदा ॥ ८ ॥
bhoktuṃ na kiṃcicchaknoti na ca jānāti kiṃcana ,
rājārthaṃ kevalaṃ sarvaṃ karotyajño'pi sansadā 8
8. bhoktum na kiñcit śaknoti na ca jānāti kiñcana
rājārtham kevalam sarvam karoti ajñaḥ api san sadā
8. kiñcit bhoktum na śaknoti ca kiñcana na jānāti ajñaḥ api san,
sadā kevalam rājārtham sarvam karoti
8. He is unable to enjoy anything, nor does he know anything at all. Even being ignorant, he always does everything solely for the king's sake.
