अपि वर्षसहस्रैः सा चित्तस्थदृढनिश्चया ।

23. Even for thousands of years, that ascetic woman (tapasvinī), with her firm resolve (niścaya) fixed in her mind, did not move the tip of her foot, as if she were in a deep sleep.
