नियत्या मूकतामेत्य निष्पौरुषतयाऽक्रियम् ।
यस्तिष्ठति प्राणमरुत्स्पन्दस्तस्य क्व गच्छति ॥ २९ ॥

29. When a person, rendered silent (mūkatām etya) by destiny (niyatyā) and inactive (akriyam) due to a lack of self-effort (pauruṣa), simply remains, where does the pulsation of his vital breath (prāṇa) go?
