वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-18, verse-7

ततो मरुत्तो नृपतिः को भवानित्युवाच तम् ।
अवहासं ततो मुक्त्वा राक्षसो वाक्यमब्रवीत् ॥७॥
7. tato marutto nṛpatiḥ ko bhavānityuvāca tam ,
avahāsaṃ tato muktvā rākṣaso vākyamabravīt.
7. tataḥ maruttaḥ nṛpatiḥ kaḥ bhavān iti uvāca tam
avahāsam tataḥ muktvā rākṣasaḥ vākyam abravīt
7. tataḥ nṛpatiḥ maruttaḥ tam kaḥ bhavān iti uvāca
tataḥ rākṣasaḥ avahāsam muktvā vākyam abravīt
7. Then King Marutta said to him, "Who are you?" Thereupon, letting out a scornful laugh, the rākṣasa spoke.
