वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-18, verse-18

तान्भक्षयित्वा तत्रस्थान्महर्षीन्यज्ञमागतान् ।
वितृप्तो रुधिरैस्तेषां पुनः संप्रययौ महीम् ॥१८॥
18. tānbhakṣayitvā tatrasthānmaharṣīnyajñamāgatān ,
vitṛpto rudhiraisteṣāṃ punaḥ saṃprayayau mahīm.

18. Having consumed those great sages who were present there and had arrived for the Vedic ritual (yajña), he, fully satisfied with their blood, once more set off for the earth.
