दुष्प्रापं ब्रह्मलोकं वा प्राप्नुमो युधि सूदिताः ।
संप्राप्नुयामः कीर्तिं वा निहत्य शत्रुमाहवे ॥२२॥

saṃprāpnuyāmaḥ kīrtiṃ vā nihatya śatrumāhave.

22.
Either, having been slain, we lie down on the earth with our lives cut short. Or, killed in battle, we attain the difficult-to-reach world of (brahman). Or, having vanquished the enemy in battle, we may attain glory.
