वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-18, verse-26

न हि वैदेहि रामस्त्वां द्रष्टुं वाप्युपलप्स्यते ।
पुरो बलाकैरसितैर्मेघैर्ज्योत्स्नामिवावृताम् ॥२६॥
26. na hi vaidehi rāmastvāṃ draṣṭuṃ vāpyupalapsyate ,
puro balākairasitairmeghairjyotsnāmivāvṛtām.
26. na hi vaidehi rāmaḥ tvām draṣṭum vā api upalapsyate
puraḥ balākaiḥ asitaiḥ meghaiḥ jyotsnām iva āvṛtām
26. vaidehi hi rāmaḥ tvām draṣṭum vā api na upalapsyate,
asitaiḥ balākaiḥ meghaiḥ puraḥ āvṛtām jyotsnām iva
26. Indeed, O Vaidehī, Rāma will not be able to see you, nor even find you, just as moonlight is enveloped by black clouds full of cranes.
