वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-22, verse-23

न चातिप्रणयः कार्यः कर्तव्यो ऽप्रणयश्च ते ।
उभयं हि महादोषं तस्मादन्तरदृग्भव ॥२३॥
23. na cātipraṇayaḥ kāryaḥ kartavyo'praṇayaśca te ,
ubhayaṃ hi mahādoṣaṃ tasmādantaradṛgbhava.
23. na ca atipraṇayaḥ kāryaḥ kartavyaḥ apraṇayaḥ ca
te ubhayaṃ hi mahādoṣaṃ tasmāt antaradṛk bhava
