वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-59, verse-4

वृष्केणावार्य यदि मां सीते हसितुमिच्छसि ।
अलं ते हसितेनाद्य मां भजस्व सुदुःखितम् ॥४॥
4. vṛṣkeṇāvārya yadi māṃ sīte hasitumicchasi ,
alaṃ te hasitenādya māṃ bhajasva suduḥkhitam.
4. vṛṣkeṇa avārya yadi mām sīte hasitum icchasi
alam te hasitena adya mām bhajasva suduḥkhitam
4. sīte yadi vṛṣkeṇa avārya mām hasitum icchasi,
te hasitena alam adya.

4. O Sītā, if you wish to mock me by concealing yourself behind a tree, enough of this laughter now! Please approach me, who is deeply distressed.
