वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-13, verse-32

कद्रूर्नागसहस्क्रं तु विजज्ञे धरणीधरम् ।
द्वौ पुत्रौ विनतायास्तु गरुडो ऽरुण एव च ॥३२॥
32. kadrūrnāgasahaskraṃ tu vijajñe dharaṇīdharam ,
dvau putrau vinatāyāstu garuḍo'ruṇa eva ca.

32. Kadrū, for her part, gave birth to a thousand snakes (nāgas) that support the earth. Vinata, however, had two sons: Garuḍa and Aruṇa.
