अपत्यं तु मृगाः सर्वे मृग्या नरवरोत्तम ।
ऋष्काश्च मृगमन्दायाः सृमराश्चमरास्तथा ॥२३॥

23. apatyaṃ tu mṛgāḥ sarve mṛgyā naravarottama ,
ṛṣkāśca mṛgamandāyāḥ sṛmarāścamarāstathā.

23. O best among men, all deer are indeed the offspring of Mṛgī. And R̥ṣkas, Sṛmaras, and Camaras are the offspring of Mṛgamandā.
