वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-65, verse-7

एवमुक्तस्तु जनकः प्रत्युवाच महामुनिम् ।
श्रूयतामस्य धनुषो यदर्थमिह तिष्ठति ॥७॥
7. evamuktastu janakaḥ pratyuvāca mahāmunim ,
śrūyatāmasya dhanuṣo yadarthamiha tiṣṭhati.
7. evam uktaḥ tu janakaḥ prati uvāca mahāmunim
śrūyatām asya dhanuṣaḥ yat artham iha tiṣṭhati
7. evam uktaḥ tu janakaḥ mahāmunim prati uvāca

7. Thus addressed, Janaka replied to the great sage, 'Please listen to the reason for which this bow remains here.'
