वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-65, verse-10

यस्माद्भागार्थिनो भागान्नाकल्पयत मे सुराः ।
वराङ्गानि महार्हाणि धनुषा शातयामि वः ॥१०॥
10. yasmādbhāgārthino bhāgānnākalpayata me surāḥ ,
varāṅgāni mahārhāṇi dhanuṣā śātayāmi vaḥ.

surāḥ varāṅgāni mahārhāṇi dhanuṣā śātayāmi vaḥ
10. surāḥ yasmāt bhāgārthinaḥ me bhāgān na akalpayata

10. Since you gods did not allot shares to me, who was a claimant for a share, I shall sever your most excellent and valuable limbs with this bow.
