वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-62, verse-2

अब्रवीत् सुमहातेजा ब्रह्मा सुरुचिरं वचः ।
ऋषिस्त्वमसि भद्रं ते स्वार्जितैः कर्मभिः शुभैः ॥२॥
2. abravīt sumahātejā brahmā suruciraṃ vacaḥ ,
ṛṣistvamasi bhadraṃ te svārjitaiḥ karmabhiḥ śubhaiḥ.

2. Brahmā, the extremely glorious one, spoke very pleasing words: 'You are a sage; may good fortune be yours by your own well-earned, auspicious deeds (karma).'
