मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-9, verse-7

यस्मात् स सत्यवाक् शान्तः शत्रावपि विमत्सरः ।
अनागाश्चैव धर्मात्मा अप्रमत्तो मदाश्रयः ॥७॥
7. yasmāt sa satyavāk śāntaḥ śatrāvapi vimatsaraḥ .
anāgāścaiva dharmātmā apramatto madāśrayaḥ.
7. yasmāt saḥ satyavāk śāntaḥ śatrau api vimatsaraḥ
anāgāḥ ca eva dharmātmā apramattaḥ mat āśrayaḥ
7. Because he is truthful, peaceful, free from malice even towards an enemy, and indeed innocent, with a righteous intrinsic nature (dharma), vigilant, and one who takes refuge in me.
