मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-9, verse-29

तपो विघ्नस्य कर्तारौ कामक्रोधवशं गतौ ।
परित्यजत भद्रं वो ब्रह्म हि प्रचुरं बलम् ॥२९॥
29. tapo vighnasya kartārau kāmakrodhavaśaṃ gatau .
parityajata bhadraṃ vo brahma hi pracuraṃ balam.
29. tapaḥ vighnasya kartārau kāmakrodhavaśam gatau
parityajata bhadram vaḥ brahma hi pracuram balam
29. You two, who are the cause of obstacles to asceticism (tapas), having fallen under the sway of desire and anger, abandon (this behavior)! May good fortune be with you, for spiritual power (brahman) is indeed abundant strength.
