मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-9, verse-1

पक्षिण ऊचुः ।
राज्यच्युते हरिश्चन्द्रे गते च त्रिदशालयम् ।
निश्चक्राम महातेजा जलवासात् पुरोहितः ॥१॥

1. The birds said: When Harishchandra was deprived of his kingdom and had gone to the abode of the gods, the greatly effulgent royal priest emerged from his dwelling in water.
