मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-9, verse-19

इति सर्वं परित्रस्तं हाहाभूतमचेतनम् ।
जगदासीत् सुसम्भ्रान्तं पर्यस्तक्षितिमण्डलम् ॥१९॥
19. iti sarvaṃ paritrastaṃ hāhābhūtamacetanam .
jagadāsīt susambhrāntaṃ paryastakṣitimaṇḍalam.

jagat āsīt susambhrāntam paryastakṣitimaṇḍalam
19. In this way, the entire world was utterly terrified, filled with cries of distress, rendered senseless, highly agitated, and its whole earth-sphere was overturned.
