एवं शप्ता सुता तेन सा चास्ते तत्र भूपते ।
नीता तेनोरगेन्द्रेण धृता तत्सुतया सती ॥२२॥

O King, thus cursed by her father, that daughter remained there. She was taken away by that serpent king and held by his daughter, remaining virtuous.
