मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-71, verse-15

ऋषीरुवाच ।
न भक्षिता सा भूपाल सिहव्याघ्रनिशाचरैः ।
सा त्वविप्लुतचारित्रा साम्प्रतन्तु रसातले ॥१५॥
15. ṛṣīruvāca .
na bhakṣitā sā bhūpāla sihavyāghraniśācaraiḥ .
sā tvaviplutacāritrā sāmpratantu rasātale.
15. ṛṣiḥ uvāca na bhakṣitā sā bhūpāla siṃha vyāghra
niśācaraiḥ sā tu avipluta caritrā sāmpratam tu rasātale
15. The sage said: 'O King, she was not devoured by lions, tigers, or night-roaming creatures. Indeed, she, of unblemished character, is now in the netherworld (rasātala).'
