मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-65, verse-9

सन्ति यौवनिनः श्लाघ्यास्तत्पत्न्यो नातिशोभनाः ।
जगत्यामल्पकाः पत्न्यः पतयश्चातिशोभनाः ॥९॥
9. santi yauvaninaḥ ślāghyāstatpatnyo nātiśobhanāḥ .
jagatyāmalpakāḥ patnyaḥ patayaścātiśobhanāḥ.
9. santi yauvaninaḥ ślāghyāḥ tatpatnyaḥ na atiśobhanāḥ
jagatyām alpakāḥ patnyaḥ patayaḥ ca atiśobhanāḥ
9. There are praiseworthy young men whose wives are not very charming. In this world, there are few wives, and few husbands, who are both exceedingly beautiful.
