मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-129, verse-7

नरिष्यन्तः सुतः सोऽस्य चिन्तयामास बुद्धिमान् ।
पितुर्वृत्तं समालोक्य तथान्येषां च भूभृताम् ॥७॥
7. nariṣyantaḥ sutaḥ so'sya cintayāmāsa buddhimān .
piturvṛttaṃ samālokya tathānyeṣāṃ ca bhūbhṛtām.
7. nariṣyantaḥ sutaḥ saḥ asya cintayāmāsa buddhimān
pituḥ vṛttam samālokya tathā anyeṣām ca bhūbhṛtām
7. Nariṣyanta, that intelligent son of his, reflected, having carefully observed the conduct of his father and also of other kings.
