मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-129, verse-13

आभिजात्यं तथा लज्जा कोपश्चारि जनाश्रयः ।
कारयन्ति स्वधर्मश्च सङ्ग्रामादपलायनम् ॥१३॥
13. ābhijātyaṃ tathā lajjā kopaścāri janāśrayaḥ .
kārayanti svadharmaśca saṅgrāmādapalāyanam.

13. Nobility, and also modesty, anger, the character of a cautious agent, the reliance of people (on oneself), and one's own natural law (dharma) cause one not to flee from battle.
