धर्मात्पालयतः पृथ्वीं को गणोऽत्र महीपतेः ।
असम्यक्पालनात्पापी नरेन्द्रो नरकं व्रजेत् ॥११॥

11. dharmātpālayataḥ pṛthvīṃ ko gaṇo'tra mahīpateḥ .
asamyakpālanātpāpī narendro narakaṃ vrajet.

11. dharmāt pālayataḥ pṛthvīm kaḥ gaṇaḥ atra mahīpateḥ
asamyakpālanāt pāpī narendraḥ narakam vrajet

11. What credit is there for a king who protects the earth except that which comes from acting according to (dharma)? Indeed, a sinful ruler, through improper governance, would go to hell.
