मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-129, verse-6

एकाग्रचित्तः स नृपस्तप्त्वा तत्र तपो महत् ।
आरुरोह दिवं विप्र यशसावृत्य रोदसी ॥६॥
6. ekāgracittaḥ sa nṛpastaptvā tatra tapo mahat .

6. That king, with a concentrated mind, performed great austerity (tapas) there. Oh Brahmin, he ascended to heaven, having enveloped both the earth and sky with his renown.
