द्विजानां न च नो दानं ददतां सम्प्रतीच्छते ॥२७॥

No one performs priestly services (ṛtvijya), since the entire populace has become sacrificers (yajamāna). And no one accepts our gifts (dāna), meant for brahmins (dvija), from us givers.
