स ताञ्छरशतैरुग्रैर्बिभेद नृपनन्दनः ।
कृतास्त्रो बलवान्बाणैस्ते च तं बिभिदुः शितैः ॥४॥

4. sa tāñcharaśatairugrairbibheda nṛpanandanaḥ .

The prince, skilled in weaponry and powerful, pierced them with hundreds of fierce arrows. And they, in turn, pierced him with sharp arrows.
