मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
इति पृष्टो नरेन्द्रेण स दैवज्ञो विमृश्य तत् ।
दुर्मनाः प्राह विज्ञातपरमार्थो महीपतिम् ॥२५॥

25. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
iti pṛṣṭo narendreṇa sa daivajño vimṛśya tat .

Mārkaṇḍeya said: Being thus questioned by the king (narendra), that astrologer, having reflected upon it and realizing the ultimate truth (paramārtha), spoke to the lord of the earth (mahīpati) with a heavy heart.
