मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-102, verse-17

संस्तूयमानः स तदा गर्भाण्डात्प्रकटोऽभवत् ।
पद्मपत्रसवर्णाभस्तेजसा व्याप्तदिङ्मुखः ॥१७॥
17. saṃstūyamānaḥ sa tadā garbhāṇḍātprakaṭo'bhavat .
padmapatrasavarṇābhastejasā vyāptadiṅmukhaḥ.
17. saṃstūyamānaḥ saḥ tadā garbhāṇḍāt prakaṭaḥ abhavat
| padmapatrasavarṇābhaḥ tejasā vyāptadiṅmukhaḥ
17. Then, as he was being praised, he manifested from the cosmic egg. He had the radiant complexion of a lotus petal and his splendor filled all directions.
