मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-102, verse-15

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
इत्युक्त्वा तं तदा गर्भमुत्ससर्ज्ज सुरारणिः ।
जाज्वल्यमानं तेजोभिः पत्युर्वचनकोपिता ॥१५॥
15. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
ityuktvā taṃ tadā garbhamutsasarjja surāraṇiḥ .
jājvalyamānaṃ tejobhiḥ patyurvacanakopitā.
15. mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca iti uktvā tam tadā garbham utsasarja
surāraṇiḥ jājvalyamānam tejobhiḥ patyuḥ vacanakopitā
15. Mārkaṇḍeya said: "Having spoken thus, the divine mother (Diti), angered by her husband's words, then ejected that embryo, which was blazing with splendor."
