महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-19, verse-17

स तं रथं हेमविभूषिताङ्गं साश्वं ससूतं सहसा विमृद्य ।
उत्क्षिप्य हस्तेन तदा महाद्विपो विपोथयामास वसुंधरातले ॥१७॥
17. sa taṁ rathaṁ hemavibhūṣitāṅgaṁ; sāśvaṁ sasūtaṁ sahasā vimṛdya ,
utkṣipya hastena tadā mahādvipo; vipothayāmāsa vasuṁdharātale.

17. Then, the great elephant suddenly crushed that chariot, whose parts were adorned with gold, along with its horses and charioteer. Lifting it up with its trunk, it smashed it onto the surface of the earth.
