महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-19, verse-11

ततस्तु तं वै द्विरदं महात्मा प्रत्युद्ययौ त्वरमाणो जयाय ।
जम्भो यथा शक्रसमागमे वै नागेन्द्रमैरावणमिन्द्रवाह्यम् ॥११॥
11. tatastu taṁ vai dviradaṁ mahātmā; pratyudyayau tvaramāṇo jayāya ,
jambho yathā śakrasamāgame vai; nāgendramairāvaṇamindravāhyam.
11. tataḥ tu tam vai dviradaṃ mahātmā
pratyudyayau tvaramāṇaḥ jayāya
jambhaḥ yathā śakrasamāgame vai
nāgendraṃ airāvaṇaṃ indravāhyam
11. tataḥ tu mahātmā tvaramāṇaḥ jayāya tam dviradaṃ प्रत्युद्ययौ vai,
yathā jambhaḥ vai śakrasamāgame indravāhyam nāgendram airāvaṇam
11. Thereupon, the great-souled one (mahātmā), hurrying for victory, indeed advanced against that elephant, just as Jambha did against Airāvaṇa, the king of elephants and Indra's mount, in an encounter with Indra.
