महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-99, verse-23

ततोऽस्य वाहान्निशितैः शरैर्जघ्ने महारथः ।
सारथिं च सुसंक्रुद्धः शरैः संनतपर्वभिः ॥२३॥
23. tato'sya vāhānniśitaiḥ śarairjaghne mahārathaḥ ,
sārathiṁ ca susaṁkruddhaḥ śaraiḥ saṁnataparvabhiḥ.

23. Then, the great warrior (Sātyaki), exceedingly enraged, killed his (Duḥśāsana's) horses with sharp arrows, and likewise his charioteer, with sharp-pointed arrows.
