महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-99, verse-22

दुःशासनस्तु विंशत्या सात्यकिं प्रत्यविध्यत ।
सात्वतोऽपि महाराज तं विव्याध स्तनान्तरे ।
त्रिभिरेव महावेगैः शरैः संनतपर्वभिः ॥२२॥
22. duḥśāsanastu viṁśatyā sātyakiṁ pratyavidhyata ,
sātvato'pi mahārāja taṁ vivyādha stanāntare ,
tribhireva mahāvegaiḥ śaraiḥ saṁnataparvabhiḥ.
22. duḥśāsanaḥ tu viṃśatyā sātyakim prati
avidhyata sātvataḥ api mahārāja
tam vivyādha stana antare tribhiḥ
eva mahāvegaiḥ śaraiḥ saṃnataparvabhiḥ
22. mahārāja duḥśāsanaḥ tu viṃśatyā
sātyakim prati avidhyata api sātvataḥ
tam stana antare tribhiḥ eva mahāvegaiḥ
saṃnataparvabhiḥ śaraiḥ vivyādha
22. Duḥśāsana, however, pierced Sātyaki with twenty arrows. But Sātyaki, O great king, in turn struck him in the chest with three exceedingly swift and sharp-pointed arrows.
