महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-45, verse-26

कुलशीलश्रुतबलैः कीर्त्या चास्त्रबलेन च ।
युक्ते तस्मिन्हते वीराः प्रायशो विमुखाभवन् ॥२६॥
26. kulaśīlaśrutabalaiḥ kīrtyā cāstrabalena ca ,
yukte tasminhate vīrāḥ prāyaśo vimukhābhavan.

yukte tasmin hate vīrāḥ prāyaśaḥ vimukhāḥ abhavan

26. When that hero, endowed with good lineage, character, learning, strength, fame, and martial prowess, was killed, the warriors mostly turned away.
