महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-119, verse-15

तदवस्थः कृतस्तेन सोमदत्तोऽथ मारिष ।
प्रसादयन्महादेवममर्षवशमास्थितः ॥१५॥
15. tadavasthaḥ kṛtastena somadatto'tha māriṣa ,
prasādayanmahādevamamarṣavaśamāsthitaḥ.
15. tat avasthaḥ kṛtaḥ tena somadattaḥ atha māriṣa
| prasādayan mahādevam amarṣa-vaśam āsthitaḥ
15. māriṣa! atha tena kṛtaḥ tat-avasthaḥ somadattaḥ,
amarṣa-vaśam āsthitaḥ,
mahādevam prasādayan
15. O respectable one, Somadatta, thus left in that condition by him, then, having resorted to the power of indignation, began propitiating Mahadeva.
