महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-119, verse-11

तां दृष्ट्वा देवकीं शौरे रथस्थां पुरुषर्षभः ।
नामृष्यत महातेजाः सोमदत्तः शिनेर्नृप ॥११॥
11. tāṁ dṛṣṭvā devakīṁ śaure rathasthāṁ puruṣarṣabhaḥ ,
nāmṛṣyata mahātejāḥ somadattaḥ śinernṛpa.
11. tām dṛṣṭvā devakīm śaure rathasthām puruṣarṣabhaḥ
na amṛṣyata mahātejāḥ somadattaḥ śineḥ nṛpa
11. nṛpa śaure rathasthām tām devakīm dṛṣṭvā mahātejāḥ
puruṣarṣabhaḥ somadattaḥ śineḥ na amṛṣyata
11. O king, upon seeing Devakī, the one destined for Śauri (Vasudeva), mounted on the chariot, the greatly energetic Somadatta, a foremost among men (puruṣa), did not tolerate (this act by) Śini.
