महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-32, verse-38

दण्डो दमयतामस्मि नीतिरस्मि जिगीषताम् ।
मौनं चैवास्मि गुह्यानां ज्ञानं ज्ञानवतामहम् ॥३८॥
38. daṇḍo damayatāmasmi nītirasmi jigīṣatām ,
maunaṁ caivāsmi guhyānāṁ jñānaṁ jñānavatāmaham.

ca eva asmi guhyānām jñānam jñānavatām aham

38. Among those who subdue, I am punishment (daṇḍa). I am the political wisdom (nīti) of those who seek victory. Among secrets, I am silence, and among the wise, I am knowledge.
