महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-96, verse-17

अत्र राक्षसजात्यश्च भूतजात्यश्च मातले ।
दिव्यप्रहरणाश्चासन्पूर्वदैवतनिर्मिताः ॥१७॥

divyapraharaṇāścāsanpūrvadaivatanirmitāḥ.

17. O Mātali (mātale), here were beings of Rākṣasa origin and of Bhūta origin, who possessed divine weapons, and who had been created by ancient deities.
