सनत्सुजात उवाच ।
यत्तच्छुक्रं महज्ज्योतिर्दीप्यमानं महद्यशः ।
तद्वै देवा उपासन्ते यस्मादर्को विराजते ।
योगिनस्तं प्रपश्यन्ति भगवन्तं सनातनम् ॥१॥

tadvai devā upāsante yasmādarko virājate ,
yoginastaṁ prapaśyanti bhagavantaṁ sanātanam.

Sanatsujāta said: That which is radiant (śukra), the great light (jyotiḥ), shining with immense glory (yaśaḥ); indeed, the gods worship that, from which the sun brilliantly shines. Yogis (yoginaḥ) perceive that eternal (sanātanam) Lord (bhagavantam).
