महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-144, verse-6

अहं च क्षत्रियो जातो न प्राप्तः क्षत्रसत्क्रियाम् ।
त्वत्कृते किं नु पापीयः शत्रुः कुर्यान्ममाहितम् ॥६॥
6. ahaṁ ca kṣatriyo jāto na prāptaḥ kṣatrasatkriyām ,
tvatkṛte kiṁ nu pāpīyaḥ śatruḥ kuryānmamāhitam.
6. aham ca kṣatriyaḥ jātaḥ na prāptaḥ kṣatrasatkriyām
tvatkṛte kim nu pāpīyaḥ śatruḥ kuryāt mama ahitam
6. aham ca kṣatriyaḥ jātaḥ tvatkṛte kṣatrasatkriyām na

6. And I, though born a Kṣatriya, did not receive the honors and proper rites befitting a warrior (kṣatra) due to you. What worse misfortune could an enemy inflict upon me?
