महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-125, verse-23

यावच्च राजा ध्रियते धृतराष्ट्रो जनार्दन ।
न्यस्तशस्त्रा वयं ते वाप्युपजीवाम माधव ॥२३॥
23. yāvacca rājā dhriyate dhṛtarāṣṭro janārdana ,
nyastaśastrā vayaṁ te vāpyupajīvāma mādhava.

nyastaśastrā vayam te vā api upajīvāma mādhava
23. O Janārdana, as long as King Dhṛtarāṣṭra is alive, we, having laid down our weapons, will live dependent on him, O Mādhava.
