महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-125, verse-20

इति मातङ्गवचनं परीप्सन्ति हितेप्सवः ।
धर्माय चैव प्रणमेद्ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्च मद्विधः ॥२०॥
20. iti mātaṅgavacanaṁ parīpsanti hitepsavaḥ ,
dharmāya caiva praṇamedbrāhmaṇebhyaśca madvidhaḥ.
20. iti mātaṅgavacanam parīpsanti hitepsavaḥ dharmāya
ca eva praṇamet brāhmaṇebhyaḥ ca madvidhaḥ
20. Thus, those who desire their own welfare (hitepsavaḥ) seek these words (vacanam) of Mātanga. And indeed, one like me should bow down (praṇamet) to the natural law (dharma) and to brahmins.
