महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-29, verse-3

बाधितो बन्धुभिः सार्धं बलाद्बलवता विभो ।
स कर्णमभ्युदीक्ष्याथ दुर्योधनमभाषत ॥३॥
3. bādhito bandhubhiḥ sārdhaṁ balādbalavatā vibho ,
sa karṇamabhyudīkṣyātha duryodhanamabhāṣata.
3. bādhitaḥ bandhubhiḥ sārdham balāt balavatā vibho
sa karṇam abhyudīkṣya atha duryodhanam abhāṣata
3. O mighty one, having been forcibly afflicted along with his kinsmen by that strong one, he then, after looking at Karṇa, addressed Duryodhana.
