महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-93, verse-6

गङ्गायमुनयोश्चैव संगमे सत्यसंगराः ।
विपाप्मानो महात्मानो विप्रेभ्यः प्रददुर्वसु ॥६॥
6. gaṅgāyamunayoścaiva saṁgame satyasaṁgarāḥ ,
vipāpmāno mahātmāno viprebhyaḥ pradadurvasu.
6. gaṅgāyamunayoḥ ca eva saṅgame satyasaṅgarāḥ
vipāpmānaḥ mahātmānaḥ viprebhyaḥ pradaduḥ vasu
6. And indeed, at the confluence of the Ganga and Yamuna, those truthful and great-souled (mahātman) individuals, now free from sin, gave wealth to the Brahmins.
