महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-93, verse-21

तत्र वै दक्षिणाकाले ब्रह्मघोषो दिवं गतः ।
न स्म प्रज्ञायते किंचिद्ब्रह्मशब्देन भारत ॥२१॥
21. tatra vai dakṣiṇākāle brahmaghoṣo divaṁ gataḥ ,
na sma prajñāyate kiṁcidbrahmaśabdena bhārata.

na sma prajñāyate kiñcit brahmaśabdena bhārata
21. Indeed, at that time, during the period of sacrificial fees (dakṣiṇā), the sound of Vedic chanting (brahmaghoṣa) reached the heavens. O Bhārata, nothing else could be clearly distinguished due to the sound of (brahman) chanting.
