महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-93, verse-20

अहन्यहनि चाप्येतद्याचतां संप्रदीयते ।
अन्यत्तु ब्राह्मणा राजन्भुञ्जतेऽन्नं सुसंस्कृतम् ॥२०॥
20. ahanyahani cāpyetadyācatāṁ saṁpradīyate ,
anyattu brāhmaṇā rājanbhuñjate'nnaṁ susaṁskṛtam.
20. ahanyahani ca api etat yācatām saṃpradīyate anyat
tu brāhmaṇāḥ rājan bhuñjate annam susaṃskṛtam
20. And this (food) was given daily to those who begged; but, O King, the Brahmins ate other, exquisitely prepared food.
