महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-66, verse-9

बृहदश्व उवाच ।
तच्छ्रुत्वा वचनं तस्य सुदेवस्य विशां पते ।
सुनन्दा शोधयामास पिप्लुप्रच्छादनं मलम् ॥९॥
9. bṛhadaśva uvāca ,
tacchrutvā vacanaṁ tasya sudevasya viśāṁ pate ,
sunandā śodhayāmāsa piplupracchādanaṁ malam.
9. bṛhadaśva uvāca | tat śrutvā vacanam tasya sudevasya
viśām pate | sunandā śodhayām āsa piplupracchādanam malam
9. Bṛhadaśva said: Having heard those words from Sudeva, the lord of the people, Sunandā cleansed away the dirt (mala) that concealed the bodily mark (piplu).
