महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-204, verse-19

उपहारानाहरन्तो देवतानां यथा द्विजाः ।
कुर्वते तद्वदेताभ्यां करोम्यहमतन्द्रितः ॥१९॥
19. upahārānāharanto devatānāṁ yathā dvijāḥ ,
kurvate tadvadetābhyāṁ karomyahamatandritaḥ.

kurvate tadvat etābhyām karomi aham atandritaḥ
19. Just as the twice-born (dvijāḥ) bring offerings and perform rituals for the deities, so do I diligently act for these two (my parents).
