महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-204, verse-10

पितुः पितामहा ये च तथैव प्रपितामहाः ।
प्रीतास्ते सततं पुत्र दमेनावां च पूजया ॥१०॥
10. pituḥ pitāmahā ye ca tathaiva prapitāmahāḥ ,
prītāste satataṁ putra damenāvāṁ ca pūjayā.
10. pituḥ pitāmahāḥ ye ca tathā eva prapitāmahāḥ
prītāḥ te satatam putra damena āvām ca pūjayā
10. O son, your father's grandfathers and also your great-grandfathers are always pleased. And we two are pleased by your self-control and devotion (pūjā).
